While Tennessee’s come-from-behind upset victory over No. 19 Georgia is the talk of the town (literally), return specialist Evan Berry has quietly become an unsung hero on Rocky Top.
The younger brother of VFL and All-Pro NFL safety Eric Berry leads the nation in average kickoff return yards (39.3), total return yards (550), and kickoffs returned for a touchdown (2) – all of which have come on just 14 attempts. That’s a touchdown every seven attempts.
Not bad, right?

I would rather have the best Kicker or punter

We have a pretty damn good punter too.

He's been a beast of a returner. Did the staff try him out on offense or has he only received reps at safety?

Idk that Mizzou punter is pretty impressive.

Running back a little bit last year but apparently wasn't very good.
It's crazy how good he is at returning kicks. No moves or real elusiveness, just catches it moving forward and hits the hole full speed (and he is very fast). Sometimes he'll spin aimlessly through the hole and come out of there but you don't see him breaking people down or make people miss really.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. He times his catch perfectly and gets a full head of steam almost immediately. Berry is quite the upgrade over Devrin young

Some people have great vision when they have the ball in the open field.
Eric Berry always knew exactly where to go after an interception.

And he hasn't even played LSU. We'd improve his average by 10 yards a return.

Tell him not to get knocked the frick out by Foster in the TSIO.

Kirk is the best Punt returner, but he ranks 78th on Kick off returns.

Foster ain't gonna catch Evan Berry coming over the middle
