Etling had nearly double the rushing yards as Fitz last year

Think he manages to do it this year? Only thing I can see stopping him from reaching it is if we bench him too early in the 3rd to get Brennan some decent snaps once the game is out of hand.

Let's all stop with these type threads.

I'm an LSU fan, but Nick Fitzgerald is better than Danny Etling. And LSU has better everything else.

This is obvious no matter what obscure stats are pulled up.

State's defense was atrocious last year. Etling is going to have a much tougher time against this Grantham led defense.

Whatever helps you get sleep on the last night LSU will be undefeated this season. Bask in your stats from yesteryear while you can.

Etling is the next Tom Brady. Simmons, Lewis, Sweat, and Green won't lay a hand on him.
