And apparently I'm good click bait because you've clicked on my last two posts.

He's got at least two Sugar Bowl wins by my count, Buttmilk.

Winning where the Sugar Bowl is played and then the tradition Sugar Bowl are two different things. That would be like saying Jimbo and FSU won the Rose Bowl against Auburn, when Michigan State beat Stanford or Alabama won the Rose Bowl against Texas when in reality Ohio State won the Rose Bowl against Oregon.

But, but, but...only Auburn fans are hyping Auburn!

FYI, the media loves Auburn's chances in 2015.

Looks like they have TN going either 9-3 or 8-4 with the bowls they project. Sounds about right.

Saban won the Sugar Bowl twice at LSU. He defeated Illinois in the 2002 game and Oklahoma in the 2005 game. This was also the BCS championship but still the Sugar Bowl. The BCS did not have a separate bowl for the title game until the 2007 BCS title game between Ohio State and Florida.

He's coached Alabama to three Sugar Bowls and lost all three. But did win the 2012 BCS title game there.

As a program Alabama has 15 Sugar Bowl appearances with a 8-7 record.

Auburn vs. TCU

This is going to be an unfamiliar for Auburn to be in heading into the 2015 season. The past 6 or 7 years has seemed to follow the pattern of an average to subpar team with little expectations heading into the season that surprises everyone and has 10+ wins to then be followed by a year with high expectations that results in a flop. Then repeat the cycle. This year, however, they're coming off a subpar season but have all the national media penciling them in to the Final 4. It'll be interesting to see if the fans and team still try to play the underdog roll or if they can handle being the top dog the entire season.

Are you claiming Auburn had high expectations going into the 2011 season?
