If they are correct, would Bert still be the HC in 2017?

That would be his 3rd last place finish in 4 years and likely drop his overall record even lower than the 18-20 it currently is.

Damn. They will suck again, but I find it hard to believe they will be worse than state.

I too am curious however if Bert would be able to keep his job should that scenario play out.

That's a good sign for Bert. When has any publication been accurate on these matters?

I think LSU wins the SEC this year as well. Too much talent, and if their QB plays decent, they will win it.

Good thing State, Auburn, and aTm are shittier than us huh? We seem to have LSU and Ole Miss' numbers lately and get them at home at that.

If we finish last but still end up with 6 wins and a bowl victory then he will be ok but the next year he has to win at least 9 to stay imo. This is the first publication that I have seen in which we finish last though.

Unless we lose to La Tech, TCU, and win 1 or less SEC game, Bert's getting at least one more year after his one.

Replacing one of the best SEC QB's ever, replacing one of the best SEC RB's in Alex Collins, the replacement to Alex Collins had a serious injury he's coming off of, lost 3/5 of our offensive line, and lost one of the best SEC TE's ever. You can't lose that much and expect to do better than the year before.

Plus our schedule is murderer's row. LA Tech is supposed to be one of our cupcake games, but they're no cupcake. We play @ TCU. We have probably the toughest 5 game stretch in all of CFB:

Bama
Ole Miss
@ AU
Florida
LSU

Then we end with 2 road games @ MSU and @ Mizzou, and SEC road games are hardly ever gimmies.

We've beat you going on 5 years straight now. A&M isn't "shittier" than you.

You might beat Auburn.

Brandon Allen finished with the #1 QBR, ahead of Deshaun Watson, Chad Kelly, Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield, and Dak Prescott ( https://espn.go.com/ncf/qbr). Over the last decade, only two other SEC QB's have finished #1 in QBR - Manziel and Tebow.

Oh you live in that magical world where what happened 5 years ago actually matters this year. Good to know.

It always bears repeating that an 8 win season in the SEC West is equivalent to a 10 win season in most other divisions.
