Well...I think Ramirez and Tolliver should have a pretty good year. There are only 2 LA boys in the secondary

He'll be a mid-late first round pick barring anything unforeseen.

You're right. And given that Auburn STOLE our DC, I don't see any way we'll even achieve last year's defensive numbers.

How overrated is Jamal Adams?

Overrated by who? NFL scouts have him as a 1st round pick.

analysis I've read about him has said he looks like one of the best safeties in the country and looks great.

Fair enough.

I know he's a nice prospect, and I didn't mean he isn't really good. Just wondering what separates him(in college) from other safeties who aren't getting as much love.

ESPN misspelled Kevin Toliver's name.

He's been pretty good in coverage, he's a sure tackler, he's always around the ball. He was also put into ridiculous coverages last year by Steele. Who else in the country would have half of their defense playing man while the other was playing zone? Yeah, that's the kind of stupid shite Steele did last year.

You think Eddie Jackson is overrated too? Their numbers from last year are very similar.

I would pick Bama's secondary over LSU's.

Stats aren't everything. Zero pass rush at all and the Seattle Seahawks secondary would be terrible.

Were they?

Is Eddie a top prospect?

This was the excuse of Arkansas fans for most of the seaon...they've done some things to fix this....which is why Arky will be higher this year

He does enough to not be talked about. Closes on the ball really well..tackles really well..helps in run support really well.

He's not a stat hog. I would say a late first rounder is his grade, but he is "overrated" because there are a lot of LSU fans on this site propping him up. He is very elite.

U are correct so as usual ranking don't mean shite. Our DBs are supposed to very talented it did not always translate on field last year. Most of us hope it was Steele's bulls shite zone. They were used to playing more match up man instead of zone before he had his one stint and LSU.

Yes. Both are Preseason 1st team All-SEC too.

You, literally, just said you're talking about college production. Which is it?

You have an issue with that? You seem to use a lot of gay innuendo. At what point in your life did you start having questions about your own sexuality?

I asked if he was overrated because his name is everywhere and seems to be THE safety in the SEC. I asked if he was overrated and people answered..."ask the NFL."

I'm asking if he gets talked about because of his draft stock. And if his college production warrants being talked about more than most safeties in the SEC.

Asking which is it doesn't make much sense.

ETA: Landon Collins and Dre Kirkpatrick were good, but overstated. They were hyped all the time, but didn't produce in college as much as other guys did.
