ESPN programming why is X-Games on ESPN instead of college baseball

Baseball is on ESPN2 but X-games is on ESPN I dont understand why this is that way it seems like more people would watch baseball then x-games

You would be wrong. College baseball is only popular in the South and parts of the west.

Why didnt they just change the programming to put the baseball game on ESPN and Xgames on ESPN2 though that doesnt make any sense at all to me

College baseball doesn't register on the TV ratings for most of the country. MLB does. X-Games get better ratings than college baseball.

That cant be true it doesn't make any sense everyone would rather watch college baseball than some hippie skating around like a fairy I thought for sure most of the country really enjoys college baseball

No this is incorrect. That game would have been on ESPNU (likely Miami VCU) but it wasn't needed. ESPN originally scheduled XGames on regular espn. Why? Who know but that was their call.

Doesn't the WCWS have comparable or slightly better ratings than the men's CWS? I'm not positive, but they're not far off.

X-games gets many more viewers internationally, and probably just as many if not more in the US despite what you may think.
