Yep. Saw him in person at Neyland in 2004 as a freshman. Knew he would be good after that. Tough season in 2005 though.

Being a QB in the SEC can be hard under the influence.

One of my favorite VOLS comebacks ever

Who was the Vol Qb in 2008? I know we had JPW.

Ainge actually works for my uncle now out in Lenoir City.
Great guy. I'm glad he was able to turn his life around. I wish he'd get back into radio though. His show was one of the only sports shows in the area worth a shite.

Basilio was great. Didn't Fred White have a show for awhile?

Basillo was better than most around here. Not sure on Fred White. I only ever caught the early stuff on the way into work (Doc, Jeff, and Heather -- straight trash) and Jimmy Hyams for a little bit on the ride home.
Ainge actually took over my old position and office a little over a year ago after I got back into the I.T field. It's a sales position for my uncles company and he's been doing really well. The guy shows up and people/businesses buy from him just based off of who he is and what he did at UT
He mentors some of my younger cousins who are playing right now (One who will be next year's starting QB at Grace HS and another younger cousin out in Lenoir City)
Pretty stand up guy

Yeah, I hired Karlton Neal when I started my company. To this day, the best salesman I ever had. We were the best man at each others weddings. Fortunately for him, his marriage has turned out exponentially better than mine.

Obviously our offense wasn't the biggest issue that game, but the fact that Richt still felt like JTIII was a better option than either Stafford or Cox that late in the year just kills me.
Cutcliffe embarrassed Martinez in this game. Only the 2nd time an opponent has scored 50+ in Sanford I believe?

Yeah, the locals are loyal if you provide a service and lettered/played for UT. Similar situation for Daniel Hood right now with his handy man/construction business. It sounds like business is booming just based off of people going with him due to his UT ties and helping out/coaching over at Catholic HS in his free time.
I'm sure there are a lot more similar situations that I'm not aware of

You've gone 3-6 since that night against UGA.
On the bright side batting .333 is damn good in baseball!

Scoreboard bro. You snuck by us by the grace of God when you had 5 star talent everywhere and we had Dooley. I think history will go back to repeating itself. Especially with Ole Muschamp 2.0 holding the reins
