Did Les finally decide to put together a decent o-line?

Eric Mateos has been hired as an assistant offensive line coach at LSU. Although the school hasn't officially announced the hiring, the former Arkansas graduate assistant updated his biography on Twitter with his new position with the Tigers. He also tweeted "Let's Geaux!" with a Tiger emoji Friday evening. Mateos was a graduate assistant at Arkansas for three seasons, the maximum allowed by the NCAA, and served as the Razorbacks' interim offensive line coach for the Liberty Bowl after Sam Pittman left for Georgia. Several of Arkansas' offensive linemen said they hoped to play well enough against Kansas State to earn Mateos a full-time job and they did, paving the way for an offense that gained 569 yards.

I can't tell if it's the heavy alcohol consumption or the fuzzy meme, but yes this is terrible bait.

Stepping stone program gonna stepping stone.Arkansas has 3 seasons in the last 25 that they won more than 9 games. Of course the decent coachs will bail to a proven Champion.

Mateos was at Arkansas for three years, according to my research that makes him 2-1 all time vs LSU. Crow can you confirm with a chart?

You Arkansas fans are really stupid with NO reading comprehension...
This means he can't be a grad assistant at Arkansas anymore and since y'all didn't see the need to hire him full time, he's a free agent. No poaching involved here...
Maybe I need to come out of retirement and go up there and teach English. It wouldn't be any harder than teaching English at the high school in College Station which I did for many years.

Bielema spoke highly of him. Good pick up for LSU.
