Enjoy this time! LSU and Bama are at the top of the hill.

It's hard not to get nostalgic this time of year. Times do change quickly and we must try to appreciate what is right in front of us. It wasn't that long ago when LSU suffered at the hands of Hallman and DiNardo and Bama waddled in mediocrity in the Dubose and Shula years. Look at these programs now! LSU is in it's prime and Bama has restored the glory. Meanwhile, things at present are a little different with our rival SEC neighbors (Tenn and Florida). We all have our worries and complaints about the BCS, recruting wars, coaching changes, hostile fan bases, etc. But these two fanbases should be very grateful for the success their teams enjoy on and off the field and focus on the positive!
Since I'm in such a good mood, I'd like to say:

I, too, am wishing the best for all the SEC teams playing in bowls this year (except Bama). Give 'em hell and show them again that the SEC is "Da' Boss"!
But for Bama, for ruining all my youthful memories of LSU football, by beating the snot out of my beloved Tigers on Thanksgiving weekends, for me having to watch my elders at otherwise-joyful family gathering hang their heads and walk away from the TV without saying a word...I hope to see a crushing defeat of the Tide, a demoralizing loss, a demolition of Bama pride, and not just on January 9th, but in every LSU-Bama game that is to be played while I am still blessed to walk on God's Green Earth.

I have similar feelings. Except not towards LSU, but more towards Tenn and Auburn.... Mainly Auburn.

Yeah, you never know when it'll end but the way Bama and LSU are recruiting it looks like we're set to duke it out for the king of the hill for the next several years. I think our 2013 class will be bad arse. That makes 2015 a great year. Not to mention those in between.

Gotcha. If Bama loses and I'm mia for a month that doesn't mean I reneged. Some dude talked me into a one month ban so I'll sport your sig the week after that.
