Last season, Sam had four more sacks than all of USC's DE's combined. Maybe USC was the one with their DL in heels.

Well 9 of his 11.5 sacks came in 3 games (Vandy, UF, ASU). He really didn't do that much in about 9 of the 14 games he played in.

Against USC he had a sack and 3 TFL. Against Georgia he brought pressure all game and had a TD. In the Cotton Bowl Oklahoma State was driving late in the 4th quarter down three points and Sam had a sack strip that was picked up for a TD and wrapped up the win for Mizzou. The only game where Sam really didn't do anything was the SEC Championship against Auburn. That was a big one.
