Watching NFL highlight reals of EL and reflecting on his time at UA, why didn't this dude get more playing time? He seems like the perfect melding of MI and TR while in the SEC, big, strong, fast, and deceptively allusive. From what I remember, he only played one season, redshirt sophmore. While it seems MI and TR were there forever.

Pretty sure he had some nagging injuries and had to wait behind two other NFL running backs...

He had a decent year in 2011 and really shined in 2012. Playing with Rodgers and co. takes a lot of pressure of the run game. At Bama you knew he was getting the ball a lot. Also I'm willing to bet the RB stable at Bama was deeper than most NFL teams

Fare comparison but Ingram has Brees and TR had Luck, etc.

To be fair, it was girl on girl with her and my mom. Can't mention more to risk forfeiture of the royalty checks.

He had a significant number of carries in 3 different seasons.

Was the #3 back in 2010, backed up Richardson in 2011 (had a good year, but got hurt in the Arky game that slowed him down a bit, probably could've had 1000 had he not been hurt), started in 2012. Had a slow start that year, turned it on and hasn't looked back ever since.

And the last two years Ingram has been solid-good. Even his first two years weren't straight shite, just a good bit below average.

Had a few nagging injuries and was splitting carries with some other very good college RBs. Was extremely good in 2012 as his one season as the "feature" back. He was an absolute steal for GB where they drafted him.

Lacy demolished UGA in the SECCG. What a performance in the third quarter.

2009...Ingram was a fricking monster. And Trent was beastly.

2010...same thing minus a few early games when Ingram was hurt.

2011...Trent was a god.

2012...Lacy was monstrous.

He was behind amazing backs before 2012 and was banged up as well. Had a fricked up toe. But you're off base thinking he didn't shine at Alabama.
