These juniors looking at Ragland and realizing it makes sense to come back.

I didn't even know he was considering. I always assumed he was coming back. Same with Tim Williams. The only Bama underclassmen that should declare are Henry, A'Shawn Robinson and Jonathan Allen. OJ Howard had a great national championship game but he only had 394 receiving yards coming into that game and barely has over 1000 career receiving yards. If he comes back for his senior year and has a great season with 700 to 800 receiving yards, he'll be drafted in the first round next year. It makes more sense for him to stay.

Howard stock is as high as it will ever get. NFL scouts do not care about college stats. They care about height, weight, 40 time, strength, and athletic ability. Howard coming back won't improve his stock at all because he is already a beast.

It could but probably not enough to make it worth the risk. I mean, I hope he does, but McShay already had him as the #2 TE before the championship game.

Howard displayed his talent during the playoffs. That's all NFL scouts have to see to know what they can do with him. On top of this, it's pretty widely known that Kiffin hardly ever utilizes his TEs. Saban even said himself that it was maybe his fault that they didn't utilize him enough.

Yeah, Howard checks all the boxes on all/most of the measurables. fricked as it is, those will get him a top 2 round grade.

With Eddie and Tim coming back, I don't think Alabama will have as many Juniors leaves as OSUn, which is nice.

Bama loses a lot up front, but will be returning a good bit in the secondary. Guys like Minkah, Humphrey, Harrison, and now, Jackson coming back. It's huge for a defense that loses a ton up front.

If they are graded as a round 1-3 grade I would tell them to go.

Why should the school and the coaches make millions of dollars off these kids when they are the ones sacrificing their bodies?

Still nice to have so many guys with experience returning up front. Even worst case if Allen leaves

Daron Payne
Dalvin Tomlinson
Da'Shawn Hand
Rashaan Evans
Tim Williams
Ryan Anderson

All of those guys played huge minutes this year and made big plays. Depth won't be as good, but we will be plugging in guys who have played and played well, and the guys behind them are uber talented and hopefully can slide into the new guys old depth roles.

Won't be as fierce as this year, but I feel pretty good about it.

Outside of RB Saban generally tells them they need to go for 1st round grade, depends on their situation and potential level with 2nd round grades and to stay on anything above that.
