Everybody misses this about O. He doesn't sound like Swamp People. He has a small residual Lafourche Parish accent . Because he has lived outside of Louisiana for almost his entire adult life. He sounds like drill sergeant that has destroyed his vocal chords. Because he has destroyed his vocal chords. Which is what you hear .

This. I barely hear a cajun accent from him. His voice is just destroyed.

I think it may only be slight to y'all because you're far more used to hearing those accents than the rest of us and used to hearing far thicker versions. I agree that his voice sounds half shot but the accent is strong to those of us not used to hearing it.

You should also notice that most of the posters who start threads about how he talks are fans of teams that LSU dickslapped with Ed O at the helm.

I'm not "used to hearing it". I'm not even from Louisiana nor have I ever lived there other than when I was at LSU. I can understand him just fine. I think you people are blowing this crap way out of proportion.
