The last time the Grinders played in Tiger Stadium, they stunned LSU, beating them for the first time since 1942 (or something like that).

Last year, State missed a FG at the end that would have beaten LSU.

So far this year, both teams have looked like a super-model by a grease-fire (with signs of hope and signs of despair).

With home field, I give the Tigers the slight edge to win the hair-pulling contest...

LSU 21-17.

I like this Bulldog team, but they're not ready to win in BR, imo.

Fitz was hyperventilating in his first game as leader, and that was at home. I think the stage will be a little too big this week.

Hope I'm wrong

I think State has a great shot at beating a downtrodden LSU team this week.

Defensive front 7 is good enough to keep it low scoring, the game will be on the QB's to win or lose.

It's a toss up.

LSU's defense will keep Miss St in check however if Miles continues with the I formation 75% of the offensive plays against that front 7 it's going to be a very very low scoring game.

I wasn't aware that they are allowing us to play 8 quarters this weekend.

45-42, you obviously don't know too much about football.

As always, the key is upfront. If Fournette plays which I think he will. He will tote the ball 30+ times. State d- line is strong with Jefferson and Simmons. If they can keep LF to 150 , State can win this ball game. I don't care who the LSU qb is. It could Harris or the " Saviour" . Their offense is the same. I'm looking at a 17-14 game.

The only reason MSU has a chance is Mo. They have it and LSU doesn't. It's only a chance though...I still think LSU wins. Too big of a talent gap...I think LSU puts a lockdown on D.

I watched the State game side by side with the LSU game and I was impressed with States front 7, pretty good. Also surprised by your qb.

Close game could go either way.
