Who wins and why?

I have predicted all summer that Ole Miss would win this game. I am not feeling that certain anymore as the OM defense seems suspect and the offense is not as explosive as I thought they would be so far.

Having said that, Bama did not look like a world better this past weekend either.

With advantages of home field and at QB, I think OM pulls off another upset of Bama and wins...

31-28. Rebels

Depends on which Kelly shows up.

The Bama defense is going to give them hell, UNLESS Kelly can pull of some kind of miracle voodoo shite that seems to be the one thing that breaks the Bama Defense spirit and they subsequently play like shite.

I have no idea. I can see this game going either way. I like our defense even better than last year but Ole Miss is I think very dynamic on offense and our OL is young with a pretty stout Ole Miss DL. Our OL has not gelled yet.

I will be surprised if Ole Miss gets more than 14-17 points. The turds are focused.

I predicted 27-24. Game could go either way honestly. Ole Miss is going to go all out for a W.

Ole Miss has been preparing for Alabama since spring ball started and lost the FSU game because they were worried about in-game preparation for the Alabama game.

I honestly have no idea. I'm nervous about our seemingly shaky O-line and a true freshman QB playing against an aggressive defense like Ole Miss. I know they have back end issues, but my fear is Jalen making mistakes that give Kelly the short field and he makes us pay (where have we seen that before?).

However, I think our defense is better suited this year to attack Ole Miss' passing defense. I think this will be a lot like the game a few years ago.

I'll go 24-20 Alabama, but I honestly have no clue. I don't think we'll get blown out, but other than that I could see anything : we win by 2 scores, we win a low scoring game, we lose a low scoring game, shootout, etc.

I've probably never been less confident about being a 9 point favorite.

Still, Bama 28-20.

You guys are crazy - Ole Miss is going to be revved up and ready to play.

And, perhaps more importantly, unlike some of the teams we play in the league, they aren't intimidated by us one bit.

Bama loses this guy by 10... I don't see the focus from this team as with teams in the past.

I see it exactly like last years game. The team with 5 turnovers will lose

I think that is the biggest thing. Unlike any other team in the league, the OM players and coaches actually EXPECT to beat Bama.

Home field and Kelly are big advantages when Bama is coming in with a young QB and a new offensive line.

I'm not confident at all based off what I've seen thus far from both teams.

100% this and then you have to think that there is probably some mental shite going on with the Bama players as well. I imagine Saban will bring in a herd of motivational speakers/gurus this week to break the Ole Miss curse.
