Gator fans, what is the reason for this? Is it due to the major cities in Florida being so far away from Gainesville that nobody cares?

Foley was a cheap bastard and put an almost 10 year freeze on renovations.

Its because of this-- resources are spread out rather than just concentrated on 1 or 2 sports. Florida is arguably a top 3 program in the SEC in basically every major sport at this point that costs a lot of money.

That and space constraints

Does the media room have sprinklers and large fans? Wave machine? They should plan ahead so that next time they are afraid to play LSU they can turn on the sprinklers and fans to make it a little more realistic.
