If 5.5 is not enough, how many points do you suppose Alabama will beat LSU by?

Gumps were saying Bama -13.5

Yeah, 5.5 is surprising to me. And a bit scary. I'll be on Alabama as long as it's under 7, though.

How much do you think Bama will win by?

This game will feature more emotion than most games and that emotion will fuel adrenaline rushes that push LSU beyond their normal capabilities and keep it closer than it should be. Just my opinion but I think Alabama will destroy Etling and stop LF7. Bama by 14.

You're looking for excuses. Alabama beat LSU 5 straight by an average of 13 points. That's the bottom line.

You're literally the one surprised here by the spread.

-14 @ #9 Tennessee (one loss at the time)

-18 vs #6 Texas A&M (undefeated at the time)

-5.5 @ #19 LSU (two losses)

Interesting...

So bama wins by 14, but it shouldn't even be that close?

Thats true. This line is the first early offshore line. The real line will come from Vegas next Sunday and I think it will rise to 8 or 9 by gametime.

Usually when a spread is funky like that, it means something.

Kinda like Auburn -9.5 vs Arkansas, they were just begging people to take Arky...

....looks like they're begging people to take Bama -5.5

You should jump on that. Its like free money.

Since you gave me your prediction, I say Bama wont win by more than 8. Probably on a defensive score.

I don't know where this talk of domination is coming from. In 2014 both offenses were pretty terrible during that game. Neither kid really get much going. Our best drive was literally at the end of regulation and even that ended up in a field goal.

So it will start at 6.5, like this one, and it will rise when you drop your million down on the Tide, right?

And yet, in Tiger Stadium, the margin for a Bama win has not been greater than 7 in 12 years.

Congrats?

Yep, some of the verbs here are hyperbole. Dominating an opponent is not winning by a touchdown with a late score.

I don't bet on Alabama games. I'm emotionally vested in them. But I do have a million dollars in my checking account. Would you like to see it?
