I knew this wasn't CLOSE to being as the media wanted to quickly jump to report it as being, but was his last strike, and it's time to go.

True, but it also doesn't address the incident with the backup center. It could be that (allegedly) breaking a team mate's jaw and not this bar dust-up was what got him tossed.
