Because when else should this be discussed?

I also have a definitive reason as to why Bo > Herschel. Had Bo not had the hip injury, he would have been in both the Football and Baseball HOF which I'm pretty sure would have made his G.O.A.T status unquestioned. Compare that to a healthy Herschel and you have Bo over the top

Bo was amazing, and I have no problem saying he was a better athlete. But the numbers aren't comparable, Herschel was the superior running back.

I'm almost to the point where I just want this week to end, I don't care who wins, just ready for you low SAT scoring boners to stfu for a second.

No, as a parrot.

It's obviously Bo. No one outside of football fandom even remembers Herschel Walker at this point. 10-year-olds know Bo to this day.

Herschel. Bo's Heisman campaign was amazing but his other years weren't.

how so? Bo split carries, where HW received the bulk of the carries by far. Bo averaged more per carry

Bo had more tall tales about him. That is awesome and all, but Herschel never lost an SEC game. Herschel ran for more yards in 3 seasons than Bo did in 4 seasons. Herschel won a national title. Herschel's worst finish in Heisman voting was 3rd. Herschel accounted for over 100% of UGA's offense in the national title game vs. Notre Dame

You read that right, Herschel ran for 150 and due to some sacks and other losses, UGA had fewer than 150 yards.

Bo is more well known due to being a two-sport star. I'll concede he is a better athlete, but there is no debate who the better running back is.

Herschel had better numbers and was one of the FIRST player to forgo his senior year due to the USFL. But to really settle this Herschel won a natty, Bo did not.

Helping prove the point. Bo couldn't even get the majority of touches on his own team. Herschel's team lacked greatly in talent and everyone knew he was getting the ball yet it didn't matter. He averaged 159 ypg for his career. 5259 in three years.

If HW comes back for his senior year his numbers would never be touched.

BO was good enough that he didn't have to spend time in the shitty USFL before going to the NFL.

I don't think it is "by far". Hershel carried the ball far more times. Look at Bo's YPC.

Because of endorsement deal. Both were world class Athletes. But as far as RBs are concerned I take Jasper Sanks. I mean have you seen his HS tape?

ETA: Proof
