And none of it makes a difference unless you have a decent QB.

In 2016 we were #116 out of 128 teams (14th in the SEC) in combined experience and we won the SEC and played for the national title.

In 2015 we were #124 out of 128 (13th in the SEC) and we won the SEC and the national title.

In 2014 we were #107 out of 128 and we won the SEC and played in the playoffs.

Low, but not that low.

2016- 98 (11th)
2015- 100 (12th)
2014- 87 (10th)

You've also had the #1 recruiting class for years and years, so clearly an outlier. Most programs can't sustain that way.

We also lose about 3 or 4 Jr's/RS Soph's to early draft rounds every year.

Oh, ok. I'm talking returning starters and you come in with combined experience. Makes sense.

But does it matter if said starters weren't very good last year?

Cocks gonna surprise some teams this year with Boom's potent offense.

I remember one year in which Vandy returned all 22 starters. Plus their P and PK. Problem was they played for Vandy the previous year.
