Dormandy looked really good for the Vols on Saturday

Quick, accurate throws. Big arm. I could see him having an Austin Allen 2016 type season.

So his offensive line will almost let him die during multiple games

Daves would disapprove

Braysus 2.0 will be slinging that pigskin all over the yard this coming annum for VOLS.

Supposedly, he's actually got a faster 40 than Dobbs, but has no ball carrier vision and doesn't have tackle breaking strength.
He can't bail Lyle out with his legs.
We're going 4-8

We'll go 2-6 once they pull Dormandy in the Bama game, ruining the potential of both JG and QD and probably lead to the departure of one, if not both players from the team eventually. Meanwhile, we have a 6-6 type season (if we can even make it to 6 wins) and Butch gets excuses because the talent we lost to the draft, the inevitable injures, and a rookie QB.
I see no timeline where the Vols are championship contenders in the next 5-10 years...our AD and program is so backwards and fricked up

As per usual, VOLS will have the best QB in the conference.

LOL! Your relentless pessimism is worthy of your reputation.

I like Dobbs much, but UT hasn't had a do-all QB since PM.

Well. All that can only burnish the Vols as the only true and worthy Champions of Life.

That is right. Athletic excellence is way down the Administration's list of priorities.

Dormady did well.. She's bad
George, to echo Volfan, I feel like Dormady can be a good QB for us if given the right tools to be successful. It's going to be up to the coaching staff to put him in a position to succeed and cater the offense to him a little differently than they would with JG. I did like what I saw with getting the ball out of his hands pretty quickly on a few plays. In some ways he reminds of Bryce Petty (not saying he will have anywhere close to the career that Petty had) and his time at Baylor. He's an athletic guy with a big arm that is going to look to throw it first, but who is athletic enough to make you respect his legs. I thought Guarantano looked solid as well, but didn't have the poise or command that Dormady had when he was on the field. The offense flowed really well through Dormady and was sporadic with JG. Overall though I'm happy with where we are at QB.
TLDR: Dormady can slang that tater
