Don't expect Jacksonville State to be an easy win for LSU

This is a team coming off an FCS championship appearance. They've won the Ohio Valley Conference two years in a row, and their roster is full of former FBS players. Their quarterback is a dynamic player who was the OVC player of the year last year. They took Auburn to overtime last year and should have won that game.

Here are list of their players who signed with FBS schools out of high school:

Al Harris, Jr.- (CB) 3* - South Carolina
Tramel Terry (RB) 4* - Georgia
Shaq Davidson (WR) 4* - South Carolina
Justin Thornton (DE) 4* - Auburn
Roc Thomas (RB) 5* - Auburn
Kevin Spears (WR) 4* - LSU
Krenwick Sanders (WR) 3* - Wisconsin
Pat Porter (CB) - 3* Washington State
Jonathan Curry (TE) 3* - Purdue
Josh Clemons (RB) 3* - Kentucky
Jojo Wynn (RB) - Arkansas
Alex Hopson (LS) - South Alabama
Joseph Roberts (DE) 2* - UAB
David Neece (OL) - Troy
Darius Anderson (OL) 3* - East Carolina
Gerald Sterling (DL) 3* - Washington State

Could LSU blow these guys out? Maybe so. Should you be shocked if they don't? Hell no.

I'm expecting a close game or loss. Hopefully a shitshowing will be enough to light Les Miles aflame in his chair of abyss.

Rational LSU fans never expect a Les offense to blow any team out.

I hope Les gets a solid win and gets back in the good graces of the ungrateful fans. He deserves at least another year after all he has done for that school and that community.

And so it beings

A loss isnt at all out of the realm of possibility. I'd put it at about 30% chance or so. The crowd that actually does decide to show up is gonna boo their asses off the first time we run the ball on 3rd down and get stuffed. I dont see the team playing with much energy after the deflating opening loss. And if they do lose to JSU Miles may not be coaching against MSU

Actually, that's true and you know it. The conservative Gamecock play-calling at the end. The terrible punt that gave you the final field position. All they wanted to do was get the game into OT, so they could inflict more pain. In fact, if they can stop LSU's run, this one might just go into OT as well.

I think scheduling these pesky teams in the mid-majors or even FCS is dumb. All downside. Play a mid level or higher power five team and win or lose your not out of it. The App States of the world are all downside.

why did you feel the need to imply all of these "signed with FBS schools" out of high school?

Probably just want you to know JSU is Thug U and they put these misfits together and form a pretty damn good football team. LSU may win, may win big. LSU may lose, too. JSU don't care. Like I said, they're just coming to inflict as much pain as possible.

LSU is bad, but they're not Auburn 2015 bad.
