Probably the 5th time I've watched the Ags play this year and I come away impressed every time. This may seem like an overreaction to one game, and I know Kennedy has the ability to screw things up, but that team is really freaking good.

Senior leadership at the guard position is huge come tournament time, and Collins and Caruso provide that.

House and Jones are also seniors have the ability to go off at any point and play really good defense.

Davis is one of the players I've been most impressed with because you rarely see Freshmen big men with as good of hands and touch around the rim as he has. It's also tough to double team him in the post when A&M has shooters all over the place.

Congrats on the win Ags, and I hope that I am completely wrong about the way I feel about your basketball team

Let's not go there just yet. There is still potential for an epic collapse down the road.

It does seem to be that nearly every team that unexpectedly makes a deep run in the tournament has a really good upperclassmen guard.

I will be filling out two brackets this year: my Aggie bracket and my Aggy bracket.

Agree. Let's hold off a hair. College basketball is a strange beast.

UGA is just not a good team and Stege isn't exactly Cameron indoor. I wouldn't make any grand proclamations about a team that beat your team.

Not taking anything from TAM. A road win is a road win and that impressive no matter which way you slice it.

I will be very surprised if the Aggies make the final 4. Not a knock against them. Just when was the last time an SEC team other than UK/UF made the final 4?

They'll lose to Auburn in the SEC tourney again. Don't get ahead of yourself.

fricking loved that team. Garrett Temple

Would have never guessed he would last longer in the league than Tyrus, Tasmin, and Big Baby

Well it would be surprising if we lost to Auburn in the tournament, but even if we did, what does that have to do with a deep NCAA tournament run?

It will kill your team's confidence.

That Tasmun Mitchell prayer if a 3 to beat A&M in the '06 tourney still hurts..

Thanks for the positive comments, but I'm not sure that happens. I could see a sweet 16 run but beyond that who knows.

We shot better than 50% from the field and long range. That's not going to happen every game.

Still, I am most impressed with the heart this team has shown. Finding a way to win the close games, and there have been several, shows toughness. That is what will get us over the hump in the tournament.

There definitely is that chance, but I just don't think the four senior starters will let that happen. Obviously this doesn't mean y'all will make the final four, but I think y'all easily could. Davis needs to stay out of foul trouble for that to happen, but I think he'll do a good job of that.

What's craziest to me about the game today is how poorly it was reffed (in our favor) and we still lost by 34. Just a flat out embarrassment.

That's a big maybe. I think we shown a lot more toughness than that this year.
