I think LSU is our worst matchup for the rest of the year.

Our defense hasn't put it together enough to be able to dominate ANY opponents, but they are creating a lot of big "havoc" plays, and at important times.

Wilson had a bunch of big plays in ASU, forcing a fumble inside their five in particular.

He's always been a ballhawk, he had 14int or something like that his senior year in Shreveport.

People need to stop comparing players to the badger. Dude was one of a kind.

You're probably right.

This thread has been refreshingly civil. I'm surprised and pleased.

Little Brother proven. Pretends to hate LSU, but always trying to be LSU.

It must suck to punkass groupies.

No need for that, bruh.

Liked watching TM7. Anyone who enjoys football did/does. Getting compared to him is pretty cool.

That's extremely high praise. Mathieu is probably the best overall football player that LSU has ever had. Chief called Mathieu the greatest all-around football player he'd ever coached.

I called this one after Week 1, but I received 109 downvotes in the process...

I could gain 1000 yards a game if I'm given the ball 1000 times a game against wall paper

He found ways to get better game to game and stood out on some of LSU's nastiest defenses.

If he played in 2012, LSU would've had another championship. True frosh Jalen Mills had to take his place. Mathieu made some of the greatest plays in LSU history based on wow factor. Dude is 5'9 185 and plays like he's 6'2 220lbs.

When Tommy Moffit (LSU's S&C coach) had heart rate monitors put on the players in camp, everyone would have their hearts racing after workouts and Mathieu's would barely rise. Mathieu also said that he would spend hours at night dreaming of the plays that he would make and that he could almost see the future. It's crazy how he always knew what was coming and was completely aware of where the ball was. The only team that ever put fright into Mathieu was Alabama in 2011.

He's been tremendous. Just a consistent and timely playmaker. Guy just gets it done.

Extremely fortunate to have him on our roster.
