His name has been out there all weeek, but now that Brooks is gone they are talking about him heavily.

Will be an interesting couple of days in Gainesville. If he doesn't take this job, he may never leave.

They are saying there some kind of past relationship with Donovan and Presti the OKC GM.

This is the only job that worries me some. He's always dreamed of coaching in the NBA and this one may be too good to pass up if they can retain their core group of players. If they can't do that, I think he passes. He wants to go to a good situation and not a rebuild.

Durant and Westbrook's contracts are up after next year so if he comes and they leave he will be in a bad situation.

I would imagine Durant and/or Westbrook will have some input on the next coaching hire, so OKC won't hire anyone that those two don't approve of.

He does have a friendship with the OKC front office, but it is not nearly as strong as his friendship with Foley. That said, it would make the transition easier.
