Financial Advisors, like agents, must be certified by the NFL players union.

And neither can be hired (oral or written) until after the SA leaves school, or plays final game.

If it's really that guy, I hope tunsil sues him for all he is worth. if I'm his kid I might not crowd the plate too much whenever state and ole miss play baseball

Heh, he went 8-for-14 against OM this season. The Dad, of course, has ties to Bama (football player), Ole Miss (brother and his Dad played for OM), and State (son plays baseball).

The lawsuit would be regarding hacking and unauthorized use.

Need to check with that DJ Fluker fella. Poor guy got his "account hacked" and he seems to have gotten through it fine as did Alabama. Those pesky hackers.

Henry I agree with you. A minimum I would have my boys break his knee caps

Not sure where you get your information, but it's wrong! John Mangum does NOT and has not EVER been Tunsil's financial advisor. It's a sick rumor that was started by someone assuming and not checking their facts. If I were you, I'd expect being contacted in a legal aspect over attacking someone's character by spreading lies. Check your facts before spreading rumors.

It's a rumor. John Mangum has not ever been Tunsil's financial advisor. I know this for a fact. Someone either ASSumed, since he has many high profile athletes, or just flat out made it up just for kicks. Whatever reason, it's wrong to spread lies. I know him personally and he's one of the finest guys you'll ever meet. Oh, and as far as the comment saying that Tunsil should sue him.... the only lawsuits will be defamation of character filed against anyone who said it was John Mangum.

Defamation of character is the legal term for harming someone's reputation by making false statements. To prove defamation, a plaintiff must show: The statement reflected negatively on the plaintiff's reputation.

Yep, when I read that someone would have his boys to break his son's knee caps and it's lies. My post would have been the same if it were you or anyone else that was being accused of doing something they didn't. A lie is a lie. But... HOTTY TODDY

Nope! He has too much class to get on sports forums to defend himself. Sorry if you don't feel the need to correct wrong information that attacks another persons character. I do.... No matter who they are.

Ok, I wouldn't have posted if I thought it would look like John. I'm not on here to argue, only to defend someone who has been wrongfully accused. I'm a woman... and I'm not his wife or a relative. I'm a sports photographer and have taken thousands of shots of Jake over the years. I came across this and couldn't not say anything. Forgive me for being so defensive, but it's lies and like I said, I'd defend anyone.

Anyone with half a brain knew it wasn't Mangum. He already represents athletes. The reason Tunsil dropped his guy is because it turned out he wasn't a registered advisor at all.

Said in an earlier post, that they better be sure. They're throwing his name out without providing proof. That's slander.

You're right, but sadly there are lots of people out there without a brain and think whatever they read is true.
