Baseball for sure. You can't bring a cooler to basketball games.

Baseball, far and away.

I made roadies to every stadium in the Big 12 except Nebraska's Haymarket Field. They were still playing at Buck Beltzer when I drove to Lincoln. Looking forward to roadies in the SEC.

That's one downside about our move. The longest drive to any Big 12 park was 13 hours to Nebraska. I've never flown to a roadie and never will. The drive is part of the experience, but the SEC East has a few two day drives.

A&M has traditionally been a baseball school and Blue Bell Park is as beautiful of a facility as any. We always support the baseball team.

We have toyed with basketball taking off but right now it isn't the show. We had 6 straight NCAA's up until a couple of years ago. When Gillispie was here the excitement for basketball was definitely there. I think it was a lose/lose when he left for UK, though Turgeon was a decent coach. He came in and took a team that had gone 0-16 and made it into a real contender. If he stayed at A&M I am convinced he would have won a NC eventually, his craziness worked because he was able to build his team and culture from scratch and Aggies were more than happy to hand him the keys. Once he left for UK and was under the spotlight he crumbled.

baseball at LSU but we're probably an unusual case given our recent history in both sports

Except whenever the other SEC schools have glimpses of relevance in basketball, in which case basketball easily surpasses baseball.

College basketball > College baseball

Deal with it.

Without reading anything other than the original post.....

How they hell do you not know if Ole Miss prefers baseball or basketball???

If you were an SEC baseball fan, you would have already known.

Its about a tie. Overall attendance numbers for each sport is close to a tie right now.

There are many more baseball games, though.

The fact that we support all three sports at Arkansas is something I'm proud of.

We also have good gymnastics fans, and even a few track fans.

It is the biggest I suppose, or is that MSU's place when they fill the outfield?

The Dude is and will be the biggest on-campus baseball stadium in the country...

Once the renovations are done, we will be coming for LSU's average and overall attendance marks. Of course, we get shotty attendance in the midweek because no one lives close enough to Starkville to make those games.

When MSU is good(this year for the first time in over a decade), there is no better place to watch a college baseball game than Dudy Noble Field -- even though she's a bit outdated these days.

The glory in not caring about basketball is not caring that you don't care . Plus as an Arkansas fan, you could have 1 good season and 1 bad as opposed to an extra bad season to deal with
