What has UT done lately in anything?

Jesus. The point isn't that they have a better basketball program. It's that they have won a title in a sport that matters

This is without a doubt, the dumbest thread I've seen all week.. Are you kidding? Kentucky is the Alabama of Basketball and has the BEST basketball tradition/fans in the NATION.. Literally a championship contender every year and continues to get the best high school stars in the country. This is the equivalent to asking "Do we have the right Alabama school in the SEC?" Gtfoh with that garbage

Yeah, and they're an also ran otherwise. In every sport that matters.

That's so low that you'd compare us to Kentucky.

Arkansas is one of like three schools in the entire NCAA who gives a frick about track.

Only men's track. We save women's track for Kentucky.

You got me there. I mean, we don't have a championship contender every season in a major sport or anything.

We could be Arky, and not be really relevant in a big three since the early 90's.

We won't be your rival no matter what you do, so stop trying.

UK has Keeneland. That alone requires a "no" answer.

Hey Cat, remember when the Piggies were telling us how their basketball team was on par with Kentucky this past year. How did that work out for them?

Dear, you know I love you and all, but UK finished #2 in this years NCAA outdoors'. TAMU finished #3, Hogs finished #4, Georgia #5, Florida #8 and LSU #11. Bama finished #20 along with Cocks, Auburn #28, Vandy #35, Mizzou #51 along with Vols, and Rebs #59,

I would say the SEC owns this!

Leave it to a LSU fan to enter an Arkansas/Kentucky thread and create a strawman for criticizing Arkansas.

Its amazing how quick Kentucky fans are to deflect to basketball when the topic is football, primarily football in the state of Kentucky.

Win 33 more and you'll have as many as we have.

Draw 80,000 for a regular season non conference track meet and we can talk.

After we won the title '94, all we heard was that basketball doesn't matter. Now, suddenly, basketball AND baseball matter. After a few more SEC schools win some track titles, we'll hear how track matters.

In all seriousness, I'm sure Dale was just having fun. I'm surprised by the reaction it drew, considering how these threads are a dime a dozen around here.

LMAO.. It's funny they reflect to basketball? You tried to make an argument that Kentucky shouldn't be in the conference. OBVIOUSLY that's what they will reflect to. There the best at the sport.
