Does the lack of Aggie jokes make Aggie fans miss the Big-12

Considering the great season Texas A&M has had this year in the SEC, I don't expect your typical SEC fan will be telling many Aggie jokes.

To all the Aggie fans on the RANT, let me give you a big welcome and a respectful salute to your amazing football team.

Your team did to my Tigers what we did to Bama. You out played us for three quarters, but just fell short of victory.

Are Aggie jokes different than any other jokes? Where you can just sub any team/fan into the joke and it still makes sense? If so,

Maybe you should visit some of the Big 12 boards and see for yourself what Aggie jokes are all about.

The arrogance of the Texas fan base can get downright nauseating--even worse than the Bama fan base, if you can believe that.

Oh I know. I was in Pasadena for the 09 BCSNC. Their fans are the worst I've ever been around. Texas is my 3rd most hated team after Auburn and UT. frick Texas.

Texas arrogance is Bama arrogance but with an added superiority complex. They think they are better not because their football team is better, but because they think they are honestly better people than you are.

If you were to make a short list of the all-time ELITE programs - Bama, ND, OU, USC, Ohio State.... Texas is not on the list. But they actually think they are. That's what I hate about them.

they have won 4 national championships. and only 1 in something like 40 years and they think they belong with the ND's, bamas, michigans, OU's, USCs, etc. it would be funny if they didnt truly believe it

Texas high school football is amazing.

I just saw a picture of the new Eagle Stadium in Allen TX. We are talking about a 60 million dollar high school football stadium. It makes you wonder how much they spent to build the school itself.

The Longhorns are about to meet a new sheriff in town. The Aggies are soon to be on an even footing with the Longhorns for texas high school recruits.

I just hope LSU can start getting a larger share of Texas talent.

frick that. Louisiana already produces more NFL players than any other state. They don't need help.

To be totally honest, Notre Dame doesn't belong with the Notre Dames of the world......

Even if they beat Bama, it will be the first national title for them since I was 6 months old. They went more than a decade without a bowl win since I've been alive.

And I'm in grad school now.

As for Texas, their arrogance (about EVERYTHING, not just sports) is sickening. They haven't been nationally relevant since McCoy got injured though.

I don't think you ever will tbh, because it simply isn't necessary.

Bama fans just think their team is the best. Texas fans are on another level entirely. They think that they should be able to play by a different set of rules. They rejected out of hand the idea of a conference network at a time when the Big Ten's was just starting to generate millions for every school because they knew that withholding their support would sink it for everyone else. See, it's not enough for them to be good. They have to be good while everyone else is bad. They don't seem to realize that a conference's product is good, entertaining football games, not a good team beating a bunch of scrubs.
