Which comes first? Highly likely they'll be looking to fill both. Do they even start the search for a new HC before the remaining dominos fall? Then you've got the fallout from disassociated boosters, so who will be left to pull the strings on the AD hire? They really are up a creek.

They will follow State's model after canning Bjork because of his show cause and promote Mike Bianci to AD.

They'll have better luck getting Col. Reb back if they promote Kennedy.

I'm thinking Kennedy would be more likely. More loyalty to the university, and you've got to think Bianco is looking for the next train out of the station.

And why is that?

They'll frick it up. Bjork will hire some idiot, and he's gone eventually. Then new AD will torture said coach.

He seems to have integrity, plus he'd have other options. The again, he could be king of the steaming pile of doodoo that's the ole miss athletic department, so might be worth playing out the string and standing pat.

To me it seems like a no-brainer that you hire the new AD first. I mean, he will be in charge of the athletic department, he (or she) should hire the coach.
