I just don't see the dawgs getting it done. Regardless if they win or lose actually, this has been a pretty tough season for them, going 1-3 against their main rivals.

Tough when you lose the best player in the country. He didn't help that much in the scar game all his TD runs were called back.

I see what you’re trying to do here

Auburn = Win
Florida = Loss
GA Tech = Loss

By my count, UGA was 1-2. If you’re thinking about Tennessee, UGA beat them, so make it 2-2

AU- Win
UF - Loss
GT - Loss

Is 1-3 USCjr math?

Shouldn't this thread be called Does Louisville have a shot against Georgia?

OP started this thread hoping so badly to troll, thinking he would get bite after bite even though the lure was so obvious. Instead he got some actual thoughtful responses, mixed in with some shots at SC too.

UGA is just going thru the motions on this one. We're only using 7-8 of our allotted 15 practices so the coaches could be on the road the 2 weeks leading up to the dead period & so the players could concentrate on exams. Players are released for the weekend to have early X-mas with folks...

We practiced 3 times this week, will have 2 more in Athens next week & 2 walk thrus in Charlotte...

We also went ahead & had Leonard Floyd have his scheduled off-season surgery 2 weeks early instead of after the bowl...

We're going thru the motions while Louisville is taking it serious...

I mean, Little Brother is pretty average, especially with their two top QBs out. Heck, they only beat Kentucky at home 45-40 while UGA trounced us, although I can't remember the score.

Picking a "rival" is so subjective & changes. Right now, SC is a bigger rival than UT. It's been a more competitive series of late, the buzz in Athens is much higher during SC game week than UT, & there have been 50% more games played against SC than UT throughout history. The last several years, SC is a bigger rival than UT. The Vols weren't even a thought until division play started.

No, it's not. SC recently has been a more IMPORTANT game, as it has been more relevant to the east. But it's not a bigger rival.

The clemson series recently has been more competitive with our series with tech. Is clemson a bigger rival to us than tech is?

how long have you lived in Athens?

And SC wasn't even in the fricking SEC until division play started.

It's always amusing to me that people from other fanbases think they know more about UGA than UGA fans.

Competitive games do not make them a rival

47–18–2 vs SC. Not a rivalry

Yep. UK's Boom Williams rushed for 128 yards and 2 TDs against their BEST RUN DEFENSE EVAR!1!1

Chubb about to break off a 200 yarder.

Gonna be a good game, but I think the Dawgs win this. Since Auburn opens with Louisville, I will be watching with interest!
