Does everyone think Harris is terrible?

I have seen several posters say that LSU can't throw the ball with Harris at the helm. Bad QB, etc.
Harris has actually been very efficient this season. He is completing 62% of his passes(should be between 65-67% because of bad drops). He has thrown no interceptions and accounted for 5 touchdowns.
Sure, he's been given high percentage throws such as WR screens, 5 yard out routes, etc. however, most of the time when there is a timing route or a deep ball, the ball is on point.
He had two 45+ yard completions last week with one that was 40+ dropped by dural. He's been given very few attempts also, but had made the most of them.
I would contend he is one of the most underrated players in the league right now. He is playing within himself and has greatly matured.
Anyways, flame/troll on...

The tiger rant knows that Harris is secretly good.
Just asking other SEC fans.

Anyone who hasn't watched a full LSU game says he's terrible. He's not, he's actually good.
However, our passing game is not good. We had bad pass protection vs Syracuse, we get touchdowns called back on penalties we committed, and our receivers drop the ball when it hits them in the hands.

We wont know how good or bad harris is until LSU is trailing late in a game and he HAS to throw the ball. I don't know many starting QBs that couldnt make the throws he's made when the team is playing the run. It isnt like hes throwing into a bunch of double coverage or anything.
He has done what he has been asked to do, which is protect the ball and make the safe throws.
How will he perform when LSU is down in the 4th and he HAS to throw it? Nobody knows, and the way Fournette is playing, hell we might not ever get the chance to find out.
But I would not call him a good QB yet, until we see how he handles pressure, on the flip side if I am a LSU fan I am very pleased with what I have seen so far.

He looked like a scared true freshman in his one start on national TV. The remainder of his PT last year was vs bad teams and in garbage time against MSU.
This year I think everyone just assumes he must be bad since he has hardly been used.
Regardless, what does perception really matter? He'll get his shot soon enough.

An LSU fan defending and boasting about their QB?
This season has everything!
This season has everything!

Who is Harris? and why do you think anyone gives a shite about him? My god... there are proven good QBs in the SEC who's fans don't carry a perpetual hard on about them. WTF is it with you people... have you never had a QB before? ... I withdraw that comment on the grounds it may be true. Anyway...
What to you think about a QB that has actually done something that won a game or something...like what's-his-name at aTm or Florida?

Thank you for a serious response.
I agree with you that no one will truly know until he has to win a game.
So far, however, he has shown that he can be good.
