I would think they would be cheering for the Tide to take care of business. There are some weird things going on this season.

Don't really care which team wins. There will be a glorious melt either way

I'm surprised that some wouldn't. A Bama win only makes an auburn win against Bama in the iron bowl more substantial and would probably move Auburn into playoffs.

Yeah but if we beat Bama, we need to have beaten an undefeated Bama

Thats also true but even if Bama loses they will probably stay in the top 6 like after their losses the last two years

An LSU win makes an Auburn win over LSU more substantial.

This. It's all about the greater good. I was pulling for you gumps against aTm. Bringing down a #1/undefeated Bama team carries a lot more weight than a #4 or #5/1 loss.

I want that #3 slot so we can rematch Clemson in Atlanta

Either way, I want us to look as strong as possible and LSU beating Bama before us doesn't really help that considering both us and LSU were different teams a month ago

This.

In truth, I know that Bama winning would be a better outcome for us, but I know I'll start pulling for LSU once the game starts. That is just how it goes. Anyone but Bama.

This game has zero effect on Auburn winning the SEC West.

No.

1. LSU beating Bama means Yaw-Yaw found a way to beat them. That datapoint will be great to inform Auburn's game plan for the Iron Bowl.

2. AU isn't entirely in control of its own destiny. LSU beating Bama means they will be up for the TAMU game, not down. We need LSU to beat TAMU.
