The moral of the story: Enjoy your schadenfreude while you can -- you never know when the pendulum is gonna swing back the other way... and it might just hit you right square in the Royal American on its way to its apex.

Meh, as a state fan, MS has just about more athletes per capita go to the NFL than any other state..

Per capital doesn't fill a roster of 85 when you're the smallest state in the conference, have another SEC school in the state to compete with, and are bordered by LSU and Alabama

They didn't do it the smart way. Clemson seem to cheat similar and got away with it but they may have work up to is a little slower.

$100 handshakes & dinners from boosters happen at 99.99% of schools.

It is 50/50 on Booster giving cars and/or substantial cash.

Very few have it institutionalized through university employees like Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Baylor.

One of our boosters even adopted a player (Sharrif Floyd). Every benefit is legal then.

o when Ole Miss starts getting 5 stars out their arse, stealing recruits away from Georgia, Bama, LSU and all the other big schools, what the frick did you guys think was going to happen?

i don't think it is that surprising Ole Miss and Oxford attracts some good players. it has the same things those other schools have.
