Does anyone remember when the state of Mississippi ran college football?

Man, that seemed like forever ago. Both teams had incredible regular season, but appear as if they are going to finish it a combined 3-7. Getting to the bigger stages more often will help these teams, but man what a terrible way for the season to end for tLandmass.

That's because both programs only give a shite about beating a very select few teams, and of course - each other.
They're completely happy with mediocrity. In fact, mediocrity is a successful season to them. Everything else is icing on the cake.
Who gives a shite about your bowl game where you're representing your entire conference. Hey... at least we made it here and beat (fill in the blank), right?

Ole Miss just didn't have the offense to sustain and MSU didn't have the defense. Combine the teams and that would have been one filthy squad.
