I care. They're old-school SEC. It's not a question of success, it's a question of tradition, and theirs is equal to any of the other remaining 10 charter members.

Not that it matters. Even if the charges were severe enough -- which I doubt -- the NCAA would need something truly heinous to impose the death penalty. The example of SMU actually saved the rest of us because after that, the NCAA understood just how cataclysmic the death penalty is to both the program and the conference members. Not to be sacrilegious, but, in a way, SMU died for our sins.

When they didn't give Bama the death penalty back in '02 after their 4th major violation in 14 years that put them it in the repeat offender status, that proved they will never give the death penalty to any major college football program again...

Yes, and that explains the Rant dominance by Ole Miss threads for two weeks straight. Completely irrelevant!

Confusing part is the fear of a irrelevant program???

Now, go ahead and proceed with how we haven't won anything since Kennedy was president, instead of facing your true fear -- the steady improvement that has us in the running for the West. Not the lock winner by any means, but a team that each of your teams has to worry about if you want to win it yourself!

When has a school got the death penalty with no LOIC and no repeat offender?

It sure sounds like LOIC, but we haven't seen the letter. I would trust what Bjork has been saying about as much as I trust Putin.

Losing 1/3 of the TV audience of the state Of Mississippi would have just about zero impact on SEC income. They don't have jack to do with the greatness of the SEC.

By this logic there are only like 4 relevant programs in the entire country. Gotten widen your scope a bit, bro.

They won't get the death penalty but it's going to be a lot harsher than what the OM fans believe it to be.

Les Miles always tells his team, "look team, if a class-act school like Ole Miss can beat mighty Alabama, then we sincerely have half a chance."

Alas, it never works.

Les told Indy to lighten up on Ole Miss sanctions.

No one has any fear of OM. Hell even Vandy has been giving OM trouble for years now.

The Rant is all about OM because it gets a rise out of you all. If none of you would respond to the posts they would stop.

Jesus, apparently they don't teach a GetAClue101 at OM.

Alabama's 51-10-2 against them. PLEASE don't run them off!

While that's pretty incredible, they are becoming your nemesis considering the recent 0-2 record.
