I'm not sure a one loss bama or uga go but it goes.

Let's say the undefeated stay that way.

Do Bama fans claim 1,000 national titles in everything?

I'm just wondering.

It's a peculiar situation. Bama will say yes but I believe UGA should also go if they beat bama.

That South Carolina loss shouldn't count more against them then Bama's loss to A&M

Not if there are two undefeated teams from any conf besides big east or acc. Oregon, ND and KSU are undefeated Ga or Bama shouldn't go this year. SEC is down this year imo

If only 1 team is unbeaten, then yes, the winner of the Bama/ UGA game should go! IMO

....what? We're gonna have 6 ten win teams, and they're definitely 6 of the ten best teams in the country.

Yes, when USC, the best team with 2 or more loses, knocks off Oregon & ND...the SECC will be in the Natty.

Over a 1-loss ND, yes.
Over a 1-loss Kansas State.. coin toss, I lean yes.
Over a 1-loss Oregon (especially if L comes on road), no.

There isn't a single argument that favors Alabama getting into the game instead of a 1-loss Oregon.. unless Oregon gets the doors blown off them. Alabamas schedule is just too weak.. has only played 4 teams (TOTAL) with a winning record and has a home loss. To top that off.. their next 2 games come against a 1-win Western Carolina and a 3-win Auburn team.

Belong in the game over an undefeated team from another major conference? No.

Would the 1-loss SEC team win if they were put in the game anyway? Yeah, 8 out of 10 times or more probably.

I mean I would take any of the top 5 SEC teams to beat ND or K State tomorrow.

And I would take LSU or A&M over Oregon right now and bama v oregon as a toss up.

Not over an undefeated Big 12 or Pac #'s team.

A one loss SEC team should always get in over an undefeated team from another conference. There's not a sane voter out there who thinks those three could make it through LSU, Florida, UGA, USCe, Bama etc without a loss. Bama's loss is a case in point. Its not just the difficulty of playing in a tough conference, but having to get up two, and sometimes three weeks in a row that separates the SEC from the rest

Sarcasm, right? Oregon would go undefeated with Alabama or UGAs schedule. Maybe Florida too.

Oregon plays.. (in a row)
@#20 USC
@California
#14 Stanford
#15 Oregon St
#15ish UCLA/USC
