They announce new members tonight at 9. It's either now or never.

He sure deserves to be in HOF. Too bad we won't get to hear him give an acceptance speech.

He'll get in when Pete Rose gets in MLB Hall.

Why? He was a pretty average NFL QB

HOF voters can't handle the snake venom.

Statistically, I'm not sure he separates himself from other 70s QBs (Ken Anderson, for example). But, there's no doubt his flair for the dramatic and performance in the big moment coupled with his larger than life persona makes him a HOFer, in my opinion.

He should, but don't know if he will tonight...not sure how many of the voters saw him play...and if voters just look at and compare QB stats between more current stars and the stars from the 60's and 70's, the latter will fall short...it was a different game back then and it's very hard to compare stats...

They called him Snake. Could have called him Ice Cold.
He could usually find a way to win.
Glad he made it.

If he actually did get in, I'm so thrilled. He's the one Bama player I've always supported. Dude was, with Bradshaw, the best of the 70s. Good for his family!!!

Stabler should have made it into the Hall a long time ago.
