Chances are no. You have been good AND lucky the last 2 years. You could just as easily have zero titles instead of 2. With that said, you have a better chance than anyone else according to Vegas.

I think they have a great chance. The ball is in the hands of someone who put on an MVP style performance in the last title game. The coach has been there and knows what it takes to win it all. Sure, some offensive firepower from last year is now gone. But some young players will surely step up.

I look forward to seeing UA lift the trophy again out west.

They'll absolutely step up. They're on a championship team with, as you noted a coach that can take them all the way. We've got ball hawks that can't be beat. Our "mvp" as you call it is the best in the league and will take us all the way to the ncg for sure.

The are obviously the favorites from here on out. Bama has the best coach and the best players.

Every team that has won a BCS title has had to have a bucket of luck to win one or two games. Start with the Vols who were down against Arky with the clock running out. Arky QB uses the ball to catch his balance and lays it on the turf for the Vols to scoop it up. UT kicks a field goal to win.
Coty blocks 2 against UT. Vince Young nearly lost to aTm and lost the Heisman because of it.
Bama double dips vs LSU last year. LSU lost 2 OT games their last BCSNC.
Luck will love the Tide again next year!!

As tough as it is to win 2 in a row, 3 is that much harder. They've needed a lot of things to go their way the last 2 years. No guarantee they catch those breaks this year

It's terrible for the sport.

I don't agree at all. I think having a team go on a run like Alabama has been on is actually good for the sport to the casual fan.

Most college football fans are going to root for their team, win or lose, so they don't really count.

What really draws in new fans to a sport is a "Greatest". Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, the Celtics, the Lakers, the Bulls, the Yankees, the Cowboys, and others I'm sure I've missed, were all wonderful for their sports because they became household names as the "Greatest". Some people will like them because they win, others will watch hoping to see them lose. Either way, the casual fan will sit down to watch when they think possibly the greatest team/player/fighter is on.

I would say the odds are good.

If A&M beats you, you'll probably still win out with your schedule and we'll lose to Ole Miss or LSU. If you beat A&M, you go undefeated. Either way you'll be playing OSU for the title.

And no LSU, you arent beating them.

After the 2011 season, I expected 2012 Bama to drop a game and end up in the Sugar bowl. They lost, but had an unreal stroke of luck getting the BCSNC bid.

I feel the same way this off-season. They will drop a game to a 2 or more division loss team (A&M or Ole Miss..yeah Ole Miss), but I like Bama's chances of getting to Atlanta and winning the SEC and Sugar Bowl.

They get stuck behind two unbeaten teams, probably out of the Big 12 and Big 10.

I'm pretty positive Bama will win it again. The combo of coaching, talent, and scheduling in 2013 just has W's written all over it.

frickin sucks TBH.

How many times are you going to pull the ole "make it sound like I'm talking about football when I'm really talking about another sport" trick?

3rd time I've seen this exact thread.
