I've grown to hate most of the other teams in the conference so bad that I find that I rarely pull for SEC teams anymore.

Depends on the situation. In most bowl games, yes. I do get a hardy laugh we certain teams lose though

Depends on the SEC team and who they are playing. In most cases, no.

Nope. Then again I don't think Mizzou fans ever had conference pride. Why start now?

Yes, I want the conference to be strong. It only hurts your team when the SEC loses OOC.

Against other Power 5 conferences I pull for the SEC squad.

Against mid majors and FCS I pull for the upset or at least the spread being beat, especially if I've got a little juice on that game.

No I don't... and I quite frankly am annoyed by how much A&M pulls for "its brethren".

All of the time, even Auburn and Tennessee. There is a great deal of pride, and an advantage for everyone in recruiting by playing in the "NFL-light" farm system... and being from the South.

That pride began in 1926 when a lightly regarded Alabama went out to the Rose bowl and defeated supposedly invulnerable Washington in "the game that changed the South."

LINK

I've often wondered how football in the South would have developed had Alabama lost that game.

(Of course many young people have been somehow convinced that 1926 is just an imaginary National Championship for Alabama... so much for the influence and accuracy of social media)
