It's Texas. They probably thought Obama was spying on them, and opened fire.

I only see them as a problem if they start crashing into people's tailgates.

Kentucky has a law that says you can shoot them down if they fly over your property. I've encouraged Louisiana legislators to follow suit.

I can see a bunch of children and old people dying from drones and footballs falling out of the air.

I'm not sure why people are freaked out about drones. Unless it's a government spy program, I don't give a rats arse about someone getting video via drone.

CJWs are always worried that people will take videos of them and then use the videos as masturbation fuel.

People don't like a video camera piloted by a stranger sitting 10 feet above them filming them. That's annoying. I have no problem with someone flying a drone and taking video without being a creep about it. I say this because there are a lot of drones down on the beach where I live. Literally had to tell people to knock it off.

I have a drone quadcopter that's about 8 inches across (diagonally) and damn-near silent. It'll take up to 32 gigs worth of video at one time and has a self-leveling hover feature where it won't fall out of the sky if you don't constantly tweak with the controller.

That being said, I don't know why it would ever cause any problems, it's not like a super-secret mini fly cam that can fly down women's shirts or a military drone that can drop missiles and bombs. I haven't taken it to a game/tailgate yet but I have used it plenty of times to fly upwards about 100 ft. to get a bird's eye view of some pretty cool shite.

Only way I can see them being a problem is when some idiot buys the $30 quadcopter at Radio Shack and thinks he can control the thing enough to fly it around at a tailgate, leading to cheap plastic drones getting carried by the wind and falling out of the sky on top of everybody.

I had never thought about taking mine to a tailgate, which I probably never would in Fayetteville. But out on the golf course in LR with a couple hundred thousand people and plenty of open space would be pretty cool.
