I don't miss 21-20 games. . .but this is getting unbearable.

I'm beginning to lose interest, which is strange for a fan of a perennial contender.

Anyone else feel this way?

IMO one thing that needs to change is the CWS ending on during the weekday

Is this new? I could have sworn LSU beat Texas in game 3 on a Monday night in 2009

No

And no to your question. Like homerun, watch slow pitch softball. Tournament was best in a long time.

I'm not losing interest. I've always loved college baseball, always will. Can't speak for the casual fan though, they probably can't sit through 9 innings of small ball and lazy fly outs. IMO

ETA: that being said, today's championship was one hell of a game. Too bad 90% of baseball fans have to work at noon on a weekday

21-20 Beats 1-0 every day. 10-9 does too.

I have lost interest but it's probably because LSU hasn't done anything in Omaha for 7 years. I did like it better in the 80s and 90s when it was the same usual suspects battling (Florida St, Miami, Stanford, USC, Ok St, LSU, CSF, Texas, etc)

I wish they wouldn't have gone away with the 09 bats. That was the sweet spot imo. Games were more offensive than mlb but not to the extent that it became a joke.

It's not college baseball as a whole it's the CWS. It has been beat to death but the new stadium is killing the national perception of college baseball.

I just don't like the size of the feild in Omaha. Ends up favoring small ball teams and is the great equalizer for power teams. You can't have a team make it to the final 8 then have them change their teams entire strategy

Absolutly not. Getting rid of Rosenblatt and replacing it with the new park is a disgrace. That plus the new bats killed college baseball

Baseball is boring as shite anyway. Not anything in particular it's just a slow, methodical game where over 2/3 of the game NOTHING happens. Ball, strike , throw over to first, another ball, repeat. I just can't watch it at any level and I have really tried. It's not the balls, bats, big parks or anything. the game just sux period as a spectator sport.
