Do you like how your school and athletics schedule your opponents?

Ever since Nick has got here Bama has been playing big time openers and/or seasonal opponents. I know Tennessee's athletic director practically wanted to torture them these past couple of years with opponents they couldn't possibly beat in their current state.

But do you feel like your school in ANY sport schedules big time ticket sellers? I know in sports like basketball and maybe baseball you can schedule a lot easier, but just in a general sense. I feel like Bama does well in that regard at least in basketball and football. Hearing the news about Florida State got me real excited that Bama will be able to do big brother work on those jail bird bullies that made Auburn cry.

LSU usually plays a big opponent every year. 2015 will be the exception with Syracuse being the biggest OOC name on the schedule.

No. I hate playing cupcakes and neutral site games in the same stadiums.

Would rather see home and home series than neutral site games. I under$tand the reasons, but I still don't like it

I like the opponents, but I'm sick of the neutral sites. Would have loved home and away series with Wisconsin, Michigan, USC, etc. Give me an excuse to travel, Battle.

Nope. I fricking hate it tbh.

Cupcakes...whatever, everyone does it. I don't like the power 5 schools we play (for the most part) and I especially do not like scheduling road games with non power 5 schools.

I just wish the SEC would go to a 9 game conference schedule and we would keep GT on the schedule. Then this wouldn't even be a conversation. We lose respect nationally for not having a 9 game conference schedule.

Non conference games aside

It pisses me off that LSU only plays Tennessee and Georgia once every 6 years and uga/ut don't play in tiger stadium for 12 years. THAT JUST SUCKS

That's 3 different. Groups of student freshman through senior who will never see Georgia play in BR, that's an injustice to sec sports fans

10 would work better, but probably can't happen because of the schools who have yearly rivalries with power 5 schools.

UK isn't a power in football but I still don't like scheduling so many non-P5 schools. I'd really love to see us scheduling some of the other non-traditional powers in P5 conferences, such as North Carolina and Duke in the ACC, Northwestern and Purdue in the Big X, and Kansas State and Texas Tech in the B12.

Two non-P5 cupcakes are enough for anybody's schedule, IMO. The directional schools in the Midwest are simply not appealing.

Washington State, Kansas State, West Virginia and both Louisville and California in the future are solid.

But after this year of playing Louisville in the Chik-Fil-A Kick-off....we get Clemson for the next 2 years.

Clemson...again..........

.....and then again.

Playing Clemson as our "one and only" OOC yearly opponent so many times in so many years is less than exciting. No offense to the Clemson program or fans at all. Just wondered why we have played so much instead of experiencing other teams.

We just had a home/home with them in 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Now add 2016 and 2017 to the list.

I'm not opposed to 10, but for the fact that it would not necessarily keep us on par with other conferences across the country. We would be going above and beyond which doesn't make much sense. For example, if the dominions fell this way, UGA may have to face Bama, LSU, AU, GT, UT, UF, USCe, Mizzou and remaining opponents in the same year. That would be ungodly. For schools without an annual respectable OOC opponent I could see how it would be less of a burden. But it would still suck.

No, I don't. Stop using 3 of our 7 home games on high school teams. It's unsporting, and a program of Bama's stature has no business stooping into the lower levels.

Mmm, no. Most of the time we schedule two cupcakes before the real season starts. Feels like extra "scrimmages" that prolong the actual season.

Schitt or get off the pot. I would rather play a p5 school right off the bat. F a warmup
