most of us don't think we can. Most of us know we will.

Lol i love how people use..this was the last time you beat them and etc. Every year is different. Lsu doesnt appear as strong this year losing key pieces and a lot of unproven talent. Etling is average at best. Miss state 20 lsu 13

This is what Ole Miss fans always do to shift focus away from their Ncaa problems. An obvious alt who just signed up to post about MSU. OM is still getting the hammer despite the number of alts and fake posts.

Regardless if I believe we win or loss, we tend to play LSU tough at home.

Yeah, and a Miles coached game frequently made LSU look like it had nothing but 2* players. That game was definitely one of them.

And coached by Miles and Cameron. Those guys are gone and so is Les' penchant for sitting on a lead and tiring out his defense. Poof...

Umm. LSU has won by a grand total of 5 points combined for the past two years. If we had a competent place kicker, we are on a three game win streak vs LSU.

The game is in Starkville and you have Ed Orgeron as the head football coach.

So yes.. the game is very winnable.

This really cannot be overstated. LSU, for all its talent, was really hamstrung by Miles's game plan in most games. Compound that issue with an inability/unwillingness to adjust, and mere serviceable QB play at best...

So glad those days are behind us...

I wouldn't consider it an upset. We lost by 3 points last year in BR with a horrible DC.

I've got a shitty memory, but wasn't LSU up a couple touchdowns late in the 4th and State got a couple onside kicks (or turnovers?) late to make that game close?

It'll definitely be a good game this year with how good Fitz progressed last year.

No they don't. They would be legitimately retarded if they thought they had any chance whatsoever.

Absolutely. Yes on paper LSU is better.
Yes since 1985 they are like 26-5 against us.
They have dominated the series over the last 30 years.
Some of those games have been blow outs i. e. 1986, 98, 2001, 03-07.
However, a number of those games could have gone either way (credit to LSU for winning the close ones) i.e. 1985, 93, 96, 2000, 09, 11, 15, 16.

I don't count the game in 2013 as a blow out because we missed the tying FG in the 4th quarter and then the wheels fell off. The final score does not reflect the actual competitiveness of the game for three and half quarters.

So yes I believe we can win this game against LSU. More importantly, our players do. Whether we win it or not, I have no idea but my expectation is to win this game.

Exactly this. Any LSU fan that expects us not to compete with them is delusional to what has been happening the last 3 years. What happened 5-20 years ago is irrelevant to now.

Any Mississippi State fan that thinks they will beat LSU this year, is delusional.

Fitz is no better than Etling was last year even with a Les Miles coached offense. So if that's your argument, you're delusional to facts.
