This was no doubt the best chance to win there so far this century and they couldn't close it out. It's a weird series so who knows really?

Just wait. Two years and we will have it in bag again....rinse repeat.

No, we all know we have the athletic talent to beat LSU soundly. We only lack a competent coaching staff.

There were barely any Auburn fans there so no one must have expected to win.

No one knows hopelessness like UK against Flordia. Aubarn doesn't know what a real losing streak is

Soundly? Really? Maybe in a once in a decade fluke type game but more often than not LSU and AU will have very comparable talent with LSU edging them out a little bit. Now if you said depth and experience for this particular year, I'd agree.

The Barners can thank Tubs for that. Should not have smoked cigars on the Tiger Eye.

Yep. Didn't they try stomping on the tiger eye 2 years later and got a penalty for it so Saban kicked it onside to start the game and we recovered and beat em pretty bad iirc?

Lost in all this is that LSU has done almost just as bad in Auburn.
It is a home team series.

Just went to see how many wins and it's 2 more than auburn has at LSU.
But I noticed from 2005-2014 the winner of the AU-LSU game was ranked in the top 10 at the time. That's ridiculous. Shows how strong both programs were. I'm sad now.

LSU has 6 double-digit wins against Auburn in Tiger Stadium since Auburn last won there.
I think Auburn has beaten LSU by double digits 3 times at Jordan-Hare in the same time frame.

Gus has taken several top 10 classes and can only get 8-5 out of them, how is that different than what Les did at all?
All Gus does is out athlete people and fold like a house of cards when he can't

It's been really hard to keep up with the AU fan base on y'alls love or hate relationship with Malzahn. Is it hate again? After y'all pound Arkansas will it be love again? This is a strange marriage you Aubs have.
