This is a message board for collegiate athletics. Why would his past or present matter to fans of an individual collegiate athletic program? As long as he was successful and doesn't embarrass UA in any way, he will always be claimed. Again, why is this so personal for you?

Considering this is a college sports forum and you're asking Alabama fans if we claim him.. I'd say that success in college is the #1 criteria we're looking at here.
