You saw Michel outperform Hurd head to head and overall just like I did.

UK's Boom Williams and Jojo Kemp are terribly underrated around these parts.

Completely agree. Both guys are very talented. I was far more impressed with Boom last season, and think he was probably a top 5 back in the league. I know a lot of people ITT are saying Webb for that 6th spot, but I think Boom is better than him.

I really like Boom Williams at Kentucky. He torched Auburn. Kentucky needs to feed him the rock in 2016.

I think we're all hoping Eddie Gran is the positive play calling influence the backs need. And with Kemp, King (turning into a solid return guy), and Horton backing him up there's no reason that they shouldn't be successful this season.

This is the first season in years that Bama want the first team that popped into everyone's head.

Whatever the hell that even means.

Maybe you've had too many beers.

That aside, neither you or anybody else can deny the guy was buried on Alabama's depth chart as being the reason he transferred. You certainly expect him to have improved, but I will bet you that he will not be better than the best back at Alabama this year, and he would pretty much have to be that to be among the 6 best in the conference.

Boom will also be playing with this season dedicated to his younger sister who passed away over the summer.

If he can stay healthy, he's going to be absolutely filthy this season IMO.

Damien Harris looked like hot garbage last year

He also only got garbage carries after we'd knocked a teams teeth out. I agree that he didn't look good, but he was also playing against a stacked deck. We had in all of our backups when he was in the game, the defense often still had in their starters, and they knew 100% that we were running the ball

No need to get angry about Hurd being better. Your guy is still very good

It eats you up that Alabama is so much better than Auburn, I love it.

The success of a sports team doesn't control my life.

It's fun to watch and discuss, but that's about as far as it goes.

So I should judge Amari Cooper based on how he performed against Denver twice last year? When he didn't do anything?

That's silly.

That one dork doesn't represent our entire fanbase, and I frankly don't give a schit if he likes it or not. Neither of you can deny the simple fact of the comment.

I wish I could see Boom Williams in Oregon's offense. Or in the jet sweep role for Auburn. He's fun to watch when he has a little room to run and can turn on the jets. He's damn near impossible to catch from behind.

No. As the season goes bama will have a back that some will say is the best. As sure as the sun rises in the east. Its inevitable. If u think alabama will have the 7th best back in the sec, well ur either ignorant or in denial.

I really like our RB Aeris Williams. He played behind the worse OL since Mullen has been here last year as a frosh. He didn't get a ton of snaps but then, our OL was so bad we threw the ball far more than ever. I think he had a 5.2 yard avg but our OL will be vastly improved. What sucks is that now we have a new QB. If Fitz comes through we could actually have real balance. But that's a big if, one never knows.

I meant wasn't. Mobile rant can be a bitch.

I'm not denying the talent and potential. But this is our first year in damn near a decade that we've had any kind of question mark. Bo needs to prove he can stay healthy. Harris needs to prove he can run like he did on A Day.

I personally don't agree with the op. One of our backs with be top 5 in productivity. We have a line with experience, and our backs will get their carries.

If anything, I just think it's cool and surprising that our running back situation is uncertain, but we might have the best WR group in the country. An interesting flip from the norm.

3 teams definitely have the top 3 backs and maybe the top 6 as far as talent and experience go. With that said, number 4, 5, and 6 stat wise won't be from those schools. Just not enough carries to go around.
