Would Arkansas fans consider this season a success at 7-5?

I consider it mild improvement, not a real success no but not nearly as bad as it looked like it was going to be early season.

It was definitely an entertaining season all around.

Honestly, the SEC underachieved this season. Arkansas, UT, Missouri, Auburn, Georgia, and LSU were all pressing ranked with Georgia and auburn being top 10 and serious contenders.

SEC looking much more on par with some of the other conferences.

Both. We underachieved as a team based on results, but we overachieved as a program by finally getting rid of Richt.

Season as a whole was a push due to slow start and pathetic OOC losses.

Conference play/finish was pretty much exactly as I hoped (though I never would have predicted where the wins/losses would have come, other than LSU which I always feel we can win), but losing that early conference game to Aggie is kind of sad in retrospect.

All that being said, the season was a really fun one. To start out having our hopes crushed then to slowly build and emerge as a solid team was alot of fun. I'm not really a negative/hater type, so I was pretty mellow through all the initial flameout and kept urging patience with the staff and players. It was kind of gratifying to see that pay off.

So the rollerocaster was fun, but let's not do it again next year.

Both.

We did better records wise and standings wise, but grossly underachieved in relation to what should have happened given the state of certain other programs.

No, I like making fun of your program, because it's awful.

LSU was all over the place in predictions. A 9-3 season is on par with where many had us pegged. With 10-2 being optimistic and 8-4 being a massive disappointment.

Now midseasonprojections were something totally different. No one expected LSU to be undefeated heading into BAMA week. So in retrospect the season feels like a massive letdown even though we improved from a season ago.

TN finished 2nd in the East just as predicted.

Both them and UGA are 5-3 and we won head to head.

Please edit.

A little of both for Arkansas. I don't think anyone can say they overachieved when we crapped up the Toledo and Tech games. I think it was over-confidence, and that is on Bielema. I hope he tells the team they suck every day until the first game next year. They need to not believe they can get by on looks against anyone.

Against the SEC, maybe a little bit of overachieve. I don't think anyone really thought we would beat Ole Missy and LSU on the road. I'll take 5-3 though, considering we were an OT loss to aTm, and a heartbreaker with Miss St. away from being 7-1.

Crazy with special teams and offense as bad as they were but overachieved. Saddest thing is if our P/K Openshaw makes 1 of 3 missed FGs vs Western KY & he shankes a punt for 22 yards instead of 12 yards vs UF Vandy would be in a bowl game.
