I had Auburn winning the west
Georgia winning the east
I had no idea Who Finished second in the west but figured it would be LSU/Bama/OM
I thought TN would finish 2nd in the east

Looks like despite the strong narrative on here to the contrary, we actually somewhat exceeded expectations.
Also started the season ranked 17th and now sit at 16th with a chance to improve.
Still doesn't excuses losing to F'ing Arkansas though.

Finished a spot head of where predicted by the SEC folks, but came up a win short of expectations. So under.

Pretty sure we tied with UGA for 2nd

Pre-season I figured it could go any way of 1-5 of Bama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, and Ole Miss. I figured either MS ST or aTm would be last in the West, though.
It was just a complete shite show from my Tigers, however, and the worst part is that several of the losses are square on the shoulders of horrible play calling by Gus.

Would Arkansas fans consider this season a success at 7-5?

Auburn and Georgia fans are exempt from answering this question.

Try having Josh Henson as your offensive coordinator. We finished the season 5-7 with 15 total offensive touchdowns. At least your shite show was on the field. Try being a Mizzou student/fan with your campus overrun with SJWs and your winningest coach in school history stepping down after being diagnosed with Lymphoma.

We did, and since we won the head to head, we're 2nd, Georgia is 3rd.

Outside of Florida, ton of underachieving in the east.
Color me shocked.

Pretty much. Although, I wouldn't say we underachieved, we certainly didn't overachieve.
I'm not disappointed in 8-4, I'm disappointed in why we're 8-4 and not 10-2 or 11-1.

Always on yalls minds. Flattering to say the least.

no, going 7/5 is not achieving enough to satisfy Razorback fans...
However perspective here. Several starters out with injuries, many season ending.
New OC having to gel
the only thing that really pisses me off is our strength of schedule.
Should have went 11/1 with the weakest schedule of LSU/Auburn/Tennessee/Mizzou/Ole Miss
those game really brought down our stronger opponents of Bama, Toledo, and Texas Tech...
