Did Your SEC Baseball Team Meet/Exceed/Not Exceed Your Expectations in 2016

For SC, IMO our team met expectations. We handed this HC a loaded deck, and he got us to Super Regionals his 4th year, his 2nd time doing so in 4 years. While the bar is raised for next year, many other Gamecocks echoed that the minimum expectations were to get to Super Regionals this year. He got an added bonus by hosting a Regional and winning the SEC East, as well as having 4 Fr All SEC players and another Top10 Recruiting Class coming in.
SC didn't even play in the Post Season last year, so to make it to Super Regionals this year was a good sign about the direction the program is headed.

Definitely exceeded considering we lost 8/9 position starters from last year and never had a 3rd starter established, although again, tough losing at home in supers against a mid-major.

aTm fell short for sure
team was stacked with experienced juniors/seniors, had great hitting team and some really good pitching, and had home super regional fail again

Replaced 8/9 starters and still made the Supers? Definitely exceeded.

I didn't think they would win more than half of their SEC games so my expectations were exceeded. Everyone's were.

Slightly exceeded. I expected them to make a SR, but not to host. I did not expect them to ever make the CWS.

Exceeded.
Our starting pitching and lack of big time bats left a lot to be desired, but our team had 40+ wins and was very close to a national seed. Proud of the Rebs.

Far exceeded. A roster full of freshmen and sophomores hosted a super. That's a huge success.

Regular season, exceeded without a doubt. Any 40 win regular season is good, especially when we didn't think we had the depth to do so.
Post season, based on how we did in the regular season, I expected to make it to supers and lose.
